So here I am on day 23. I've heard that it takes 30 days to make a habit stick, and I'm at the point where...I'm in the habit. I've cut out meat and dairy completely, and by focusing on the alternatives that I love (toasted almonds on a salad instead of cheese crumbles, vanilla soy milk in my chai latte instead of regular milk) and trying out new recipes (I am addicted to
pumpkin chocolate muffins!), it hasn't been too much of an adjustment. I'm feeling great, and I'm holding steady at since my last weigh-in - likely due to
eating out more than once during my birthday week :).
